Our Story
Founded in Darwin. Built on expertise.
TDH was founded in 2000 by three senior accountants with extensive experience in corporate accounting at Big 4 firms of KPMG and Ernst & Young. From the outset, the founding Directors set out to deliver a diverse range of quality business and assurance services at cost-effective rates.
Over 25 years later, that commitment remains unchanged. TDH keeps it simple — we identify and analyse client needs, and with professional expertise and strong project management skills, deliver requirements to clients’ satisfaction.
Our Director, Adam Dohnt, is supported by a highly skilled team who have delivered exceptional accounting services for over two decades, garnering a reputation for consistently meeting client needs across the Northern Territory.

Adam Dohnt
Director

A founding Director, Adam has over 30 years’ experience in public practice, gaining his initial audit experience at KPMG and Ernst & Young.
As a Registered Company and Registered SMSF Auditor, Adam has provided audit and assurance services across a broad range of sectors, including government, local government, public and private companies, Aboriginal Corporations, not-for-profit entities, education, financial institutions, mining and resources, superannuation and legal and real estate trust accounts.
Adam is also an Authorised audit partner with the Auditor-General of the Northern Territory. In his role as a Registered Tax Agent, Adam provides taxation and business services advice to clients across numerous industries.

Barbara Ilett

During her 20-plus year accounting career Barbara has worked for large and mid-tier accounting firms in Adelaide and Canberra. In 2004, Barbara commenced work at TDH as a graduate accountant, progressing to now hold the position of Taxation Manager. In 2010, Barbara became an equity holder in the firm.
In her role as a Registered Tax Agent, Barbara provides taxation and business services advice to clients across a wide range of sectors including construction, civil works, property development, medical, primary industries, financial institutions, manufacturing, environmental, superannuation and various service industries.

Anushka Dias
Audit Manager

Anushka commenced her accounting career with TDH in 2003 as an audit graduate and has progressed through the firm over 20-plus years to now hold the position of Audit Manager. In 2021, Anushka became an equity holder in the firm.
In her role as Audit Manager, Anushka provides audit and assurance services to not-for-profit entities, Aboriginal Corporations, large for-profit entities, local government councils and the Northern Territory Government. Anushka also provides advice and assistance to clients around financial reporting obligations and interpretation of accounting standards.
